Other times, it looks like working with our partners to create once and a lifetime experiences for clients.
Earlier this month, that’s exactly what we were able to do with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Quicken Loans, in partnership with the Cavs, gave 10 clients (who are also huge Cavs fans) and their guests the ultimate Cavs experience. Clients had dinner with Cavs forward, Jeff Green, played on the actual Cavaliers court and even got to sit courtside at the game!
Meeting Cavs Legends
The first thing on clients’ itinerary for the Cavs experience, was a private dinner at the Marble Room, a new five-star steak house in downtown Cleveland. Dinner was going great – and then it got even better. Cleveland Cavalier, Jeff Green stopped in to have dinner with the clients.
The clients and their guests took pictures and chatted with Green until it was time for them to head over to Jack Casino for a tour.
The next day, clients were shuttled to The Q Arena where they visited the locker rooms before they played a full game of basketball on the court. Of course, we couldn’t send them out without coaching. Cavs legends, Campy Russell and Austin Carr coached our clients out on the court. Giving them pointers and helping them strategize. Even the Cavs announcers, Sean Peebles and Ahmaad Crump were there to cheer clients on.
That evening, clients went to the game against the Orlando Magic. Before the game started, clients got the VIP treatment with a special reception. There was a ton of food (everything from pizza to sushi) and the Cavs cheerleaders and Scream Team stopped in for pictures.
After meeting the team who gets the crowd excited, clients were brought to their courtside seats! No better way to watch the game.
Making Dreams Come True
We invited 10 of our serviced clients to the Cavs experience, including Dee M. from Ohio.
Dee has always been a Cavs fan, she actually used to work for them. “I worked as an usherette when the Richfield Coliseum opened. My station was the floor and Cavs bench. They are my team and I watch every game on TV.”
When Dee and her husband found out that they were selected for the dream court experience they almost didn’t believe it. Dee said she smiled so much it made her face hurt.
“The whole experience was wonderful, but my favorite part was when it was our turn to sit on the floor seats. It was a dream come true,” says Dee.
